Basic Program Duration : Eight Weeks
The group therapy process offers the opportunity to explore problematic sexual behaviour, to confront the nature of sexual addictions and to manage and to support sobriety in your life.
This basic program is an introduction to group dynamics and a psycho-educational process. Participants learn how to assist one another in building a supportive and caring network.
Introducing the exercise of Self-Hope, Self-Confidence, Self-Awareness and Self-Esteem.

- A three-day workshop at the conclusion of eight weeks
- The 12-step program is complementary to our basic program.
The Task and Skills Group (T&S)
The goal of this group is to provide skills for early recovery and relapse prevention. The direction of this ongoing work and the group psychotherapy sessions are designed to assist the implementation of the first seven tasks of RECOVERY as outlined by Patrick Carnes.
Clients enter the T&S Group after they have completed the Basic Program or as a referral from a residential treatment centre. Participants can remain as long as they require to integrate the RECOVERY process.
A cooperative evaluation process between therapist and client takes place on a regular basis. - Individual private sessions

The Advanced Group : A One-Year Program
The advanced group is for people who have accomplished the Basic program and the T&S Group and who are now involved in the 12-step program.
Participants must be ready to explore the trauma issues of their lives and their interpersonal relationships. Attention is placed on lifestyle changes, growth leading towards an improved quality of life, and a healthy sexuality in a committed relationship. Abstinence from addictive behavior for three months is necessary prior to entering this program. Participants are requested to commit to the group for one year.
Treatment is available and encouraged for those partners who wish to explore their sexual co-dependency / and for couples who are ready to address the impact of the addiction on their relationship. - Extended workshops throughout the program

Participants can stay longer in this group if they wish and need the support.

Wrestle with the nature of sexual addiction and cybersex the compulsion, touch dynamics of sexual fantasies and peek behind the arousal template to win healing insight into the nature of the beast and the way to healthy sexuality.
Sexual addiction, symbolized by the golf course flag, is a symptom waving in the wind for attention. At the bottom of the flagpole, the hole is the cause of the problem. This workshop helps to discover and address the causes of the addiction enabling each man to move on with new life & vigor. John Pitt, psychotherapist and co-director of Asklepion Toronto, is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist. John is a member of Patrick Carnes' network of therapists since 2003. He holds a Masters in Therapeutic Counseling.
The workshop meets 7 Monday evenings from March 31 to May 12, 2008 6:30 – 8:00 PM at 161 Spadina Rd. [one block south of Dupont St. in Toronto].
